Those of you who know me are aware that I'm working on a film with some friends of mine. For years I've referred to this screenplay as 'the hockey film,' simply because it's a quick way of referencing one of the subjects covered. Essentially what the story is really about is brothers, and family, and how the men in one broken family reconnect after years of estrangement brought on by one very bad day.

My first novel A Certain Kind of Freedom was a Finalist in the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia Atlantic Writing Awards for unpublished manuscripts. I've recently completed the first three books of my Drifters series, and I'm working on the fourth. I can't let these characters go, I love them! To me, they are friends who simply live in another town.

I live with my partner Stephen and a cuddly striped cat named Oliver (Lucy Maud Montgomery once said the only good cat is a striped cat) in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. I make frequent trips to Vancouver to visit my Singer - Songwriter / Barista son Christopher (he makes the best macchiato on the planet).
