These are some of my favourite thoughts from Drifters Series Readers! You can find more on Goodreads and Amazon

"If you are looking for an easy love story, the perfect fairy tale, then Drifters is not for you. Fairy tales are not real. The Drifters series examines the true challenges that love, loss, soul mates, families and even friends bring. It brings into focus how love sometimes DOES hurt. That it isn't always a healing balm. Sometimes love is brutally painful, makes mistakes and hurts us deeply. The story of Jessie, Josh, Jacob and the rest of the Drifters crew will make you laugh, cry, and question the meaning of bravery, love and relationships. These novels are the kind that force you to plug in. You become a part of the world and of the characters' journeys. Their struggles and hurts, and yes their joys and successes become important to you personally. And that is the magic of a great author. So, if you want to be a part of that magic then, yes Drifters will deliver in a big way. This series holds a place of honour on my bookshelf."

“This series just hit my favorite series of the year list. This book was brilliantly written and had me in tears and in knots so many times thru-out that I cannot even count the moments. The characters are all well developed and richly charismatic. Many of the circumstances are emotionally raw and beautiful at the same time.

I cannot recommend this series more highly. It is a beautiful emotional ride of friendship, love, loss, redemption and the most important thing...HOPE.

Miss Rodgers...keep writing stories like this and I will be a forever fan!”

"The Drifters series is beautifully written! The author is completely in touch with her characters’ feelings and emotions. This captivating page-turner will have you hooked from page one. Drifters is not a fairytale romance; it’s an epic saga that had me wondering ‘whose story is this,’ it’s so real. Clear the decks, you will not be able to put these books down. You will be drawn into the characters - you will feel their happiness, fear, sadness, hope. If you are looking for a series that will grab you from page one and leave you thirsting for more, Drifters will not disappoint!"

"From the very first book in the Drifters series, A Song For Josh, I was hooked. Before I finished each book in the series, I made sure I had the next book so I could dive back into Jessie Wheeler’s world.  Through Susan's writing I felt as though I was there with the characters - I felt their happiness, their sorrow, their love.  This is a truly captivating series that I have fallen head over heels in love with!"

"I was standing  waiting for the librarian to finish  putting my books  through and I picked up this book and read the back and it told me the author  was from Summerside so I asked  if I could add this book too. I started it on my way to Montague (hubby driving) and on the way home I stopped and asked for any more she had.

I started to read when I was very young and over the years I have read a lot of books (I seldom have less than 40 out at a time) but I can honestly say in those years I never read a book or a series that I enjoyed so much. I have cried and laughed with  Jessie and Josh and Jacob and I told my friends all about them as if they were my kids, lol.

I said to my friend Janice (who loves them as much as I do), "I keep wondering what else that poor boy is going to go through." I love my Josh. My heart goes out to  them and I know it's not real but I still sit and cry at the bad times. I am  anxiously waiting for book 13  and any more after. I really don't want it to end for them  and wish there  was a way  not to have to wait, lol. Please keep up the good work."
